Bella Thorne may only be 15, but she's certainly climbing up our best-dressed celebrity list. The actress called us on her way to the Shake It Up set in Los Angeles to answer all of our burning style questions. Find out what's on her wardrobe wish list, which designers she stocks her closet with, and more.
What three words would you use to describe your personal style?
I would say fun. Different. Definitely stylish.
What is your red carpet style strategy?
Since there are so many people and you never know what the color of the carpet is, it's hard to plan an outfit. If the carpet is blue and my legs are showing, then it reflects the blue on my legs because I'm so pale. I usually just go with things that are very simple, clean. I like really bright colors right now. I like clean-cut, very proper, very elegant looks.
Who are your favorite designers?
I love Michael Kors! I also love Miu Miu shoes — they're fabulous, I have so many pairs.
What would you consider your everyday uniform?
That's difficult, because I go to the set every day. I'm forced to wear sweats because we have dance rehearsal. But when I'm going out with my friends to a movie or bowling or something, I switch it up. Some days I'll be like, 'Oh, I so want to be a tomboy today,' or sometimes I'll wear a big poufy skirt and be a girly-girl. It depends on what I'm feeling that day.
If you could only shop at one store for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I would have to say BCBG because they have a really wide selection. They have the simple tops I can wear all the time, and then they have a nice pencil skirt that I can wear out with my friends. They have really bright colors and wrap dresses, which I really like. That stuff works for whatever look you're going for.
How would you compare your style to your character CeCe's style?
My character's style is very tomboy, very rocker. She actually never, ever wore a skirt the first two seasons, and then this third season I was like, 'Guys. It's not a big deal if she just wears a skirt.' So luckily I got to wear a few skirts this season, but they're still in my character's style. Anything she wears has to be studded or spiked in some way.
What trend are you really into for winter?
I really love big scarves. I have a whole bunch. My mom got me all of these really pretty one. They're soft, and I love the colors. I also love leather. I have some leather jeans and some leather jackets that I just got that I really like.
What trend do you wish would disappear?
Maybe too many prints, or socks with sandals. When guys wear socks with the Adidas sandals? That's my biggest pet peeve.
What's on your wardrobe wish list?
I'm really into tall boots. I just got some new ones from Michael Kors that have these little gold studs. I have Valentino ones that I really love. Real, real tall boots!
Rapid fire question time! Flats or heels?
Heels.
Pants or skirt?
Pants.
High-tops or low-tops?
High-tops.
Backpack or messenger bag?
Messenger bag.
Peacoat or puffer coat?
That's a hard one because I wear both! I really like this new puffer coat that I got from Armani; it's red and super cool, so I have to go with that
